SCA’s TENA incontinence care brand is the market leader in the country and the Nana brand holds a no. 4 position in the feminine care segment.

The company also holds a no. 2 in the Away-From-Home tissue segment with SCA hygiene brand Tork. SCA also sells Libero baby diapers.

Packaging

SCA Packaging has got 13 production plants in France. The acquisition of the French packaging company Nicollet in 1999 added valuable expertise in the high-quality print consumer packaging segment.

SCA Recycling is located in Suresnes, close to Paris, and sources recovered paper to SCA's European paper mills and 3rd party customers.

Forest products

SCA Graphic Paper sells pulp and paper products to some of France’s largest publishers, printers and advertising agencies. Through its sales company SCA Timber France and distribution facilities in Rochefort and Fécamp SCA supplies solid-wood products to the French market.

SCA has also acquired the timber-processing company PLF - France's largest independent suplier of wood based construction products to the builders merchants sector. Operations are located in Bonneuil-Matours and in Rochefort. 

History

SCA entered the French corrugated board market in 1961. In 1975, SCA acquired the Swedish company Mölnlycke and thereby achieved a position in the hygiene products market in France.

In 1996 SCA acquires Apura, a producer of AFH products, and in 1998 CPROP, a distributor chain for incontinence products. Acquistion of the French packaging company Nicollet in 1999.

2012 SCA aquires timber processing company PLF.
